Your information, in plain words

What we collect, why we need it, who sees it and how to switch off ad tracking. Last updated 23 October 2026.

Who we are

READY+ is run by Max Cary, trading as READY+, 2 Owls Rest, Constantia, Cape Town, 7806, South Africa.

Questions about your information go to info@readyplus.co.za or +27 79 900 0767.

What we collect and why

  • When you order. Your name, email, mobile number, delivery address and what you bought. Yoco tells us the last four digits and brand of your card, never the full number. We use this to deliver your order and send your order and delivery emails. We need all of it to deliver, so an order can't go through without it.
  • When you join the waitlist or enter the giveaway. Your email, and for the giveaway your name and phone number. We use it to send READY+ news and to run the draw. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • When you write a review. Your name, rating and review. We publish your first name with the review.
  • When you browse. Cookies and similar tools record which pages you visit and which ad brought you here. At checkout we also record your IP address, your browser type and the ad link you came from, so we can tell Meta that an ad led to a sale.

Instagram and Facebook ads

We use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API. They tell Meta when someone who saw a READY+ ad on Instagram or Facebook visits this site, starts an order or buys. That lets us see which ads work and lets Meta show our ads to people likely to be interested.

Meta receives the pages you view, your order value, your IP address and browser, and your email and phone number in scrambled (hashed) form. Meta uses them to match the visit to a Meta account. What Meta does with it is covered by Meta's privacy policy. We delete the IP address and browser details from your order once the sale has been reported.

How to switch off ad tracking

  • On Instagram or Facebook. Open Accounts Centre, then Ad preferences, and turn off the use of activity information from ad partners.
  • In your browser. Block or delete cookies in your browser's settings, or use private browsing. The shop still works.
  • Google Analytics. Google's opt-out add-on stops it on every site.

Who we share it with

Each of these gets only what it needs for its job. We never sell your information.

  • Yoco processes your payment.
  • The Courier Guy, Ship Logic and Pudo deliver courier and locker orders.
  • Resend sends our emails.
  • Supabase stores orders, reviews and the waitlist.
  • Vercel hosts this website and measures page speed.
  • Google runs Google Analytics.
  • Meta measures our Instagram and Facebook ads, as above.

Several of these services store information on servers outside South Africa. Each is bound by its own data protection terms.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for five years for tax purposes. Waitlist and marketing emails stop as soon as you unsubscribe.
